Burn Permits outside Corporate City Limits (in the county)
Burn Permits are required Oct 15 – May 15 each year.
You can either contact your local Division of Forestry office or apply online.

Burn Permits Inside the Corporate City Limits
If you are going to be burning inside the corporate city limits of any of the cities, at any time throughout the year, you must contact that city’s fire department to receive a burn permit.

Smoke Alarm Program
Many of the member departments of the Sevier County Fire Chief’s Association are proud participants in the State Fire Marshal’s Office “Get Alarmed Tennessee” Program.
If you are in need of a smoke alarm for your residence please feel free to contact your closest fire department, they will be able to get you in contact with someone that will be able to assist you in getting a smoke alarm for your home.
